These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Aliens Automotive’s roadside assistance services (“we”, “us”, “our”). By requesting or receiving a callout from us, you agree to these Terms.

1. Our services
We provide roadside assistance across the Aliens Automotive service area, including jump starts, lockout assistance, and flat tyre changes. Availability, response times, and pricing may vary depending on your location, the time of day, and the nature of the callout.
2. Booking a callout
When you call 021 229 30071 or otherwise request assistance, you agree to provide accurate information about your location, vehicle, and the issue you’re experiencing. Estimated arrival times are indicative only and are not guaranteed, as they depend on traffic, weather, and technician availability.
3. Pricing and payment
Pricing starts from $XX and the final cost depends on the service required, parts used, and any after-hours or distance surcharges. Where possible, we will confirm an estimate before starting work. Payment is due on completion of the callout unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4. Your responsibilities
- Provide a safe and accessible location for our technician to work.
- Ensure you are the vehicle’s owner, driver, or otherwise authorised to request assistance for it.
- Follow any safety guidance given by our technician while roadside.
5. Limitation of liability
We take reasonable care in performing our services, but we are not liable for pre-existing vehicle faults, damage arising from conditions beyond our control, or delays caused by traffic, weather, or events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or other applicable New Zealand law.
6. Cancellations
You may cancel a callout at any time before our technician arrives. A call-out fee may still apply if a technician has already been dispatched to your location.
7. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision. Continuing to use our services after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
